Kumar Lakefront House has been conceived as a 21st Century retreat, an escape from the modern life to a lakefront home overlooking the Lake Sammamish. The site being located on a critical slope and between houses proved to be quite a challenge. Therefore, the site conditions led to the sculpting of multiple indoor/outdoor spaces into the topography and making an open floor plan expanded the visual sense of the waterfront deeper into the property.
